I never met Carter personally but did talk with him a few time when he was with Callaway Gardens. I arranged a trip with several guys from my church to fish there several years ago the last week in April. I ended with 3 bream that weight 2 3/4 lbs. when we quit early because we were soaked & shivering from a pouring rain. I have been back a few times, it's the best private (open to the public for a fee) lake I have ever been on.
