I had some similar sunglasses years ago but I had problems watching my step on the river bottom because the change in depth perception between looking directly in front of my feet and then looking a little bit farther forward. Caused me to stumble around. Have you experience that problem while wading?

Sanitize your FF equipment and wash your boat, trailer, livewells & sumps. Wash your wading dog

    Scruffy,

I dont like any sort of bifocals when I'm wading, for your exact reason, not being able to see direcly in front of me.
Bifocals just make some things more difficult for me.

That was the reason in my original post I stated I didnt want any of the "stick-on" readers. I'm sure that I would stumble with those.

It's not that I'm not used to bifocals. My prescription glasses are bifocals and my safety glasses at work have reader inserts in them.
Switching between sunglasses and reading glasses is a little of a pain, but it works best for me.

The Clic magnetic glasses also come in an XXL size http://www.clicmagneticglasses.com/xxl/?sort=priceasc

Are those the ones you tried on? The XXL is .5 inch wider.
