    Hoppers come in various colors and sizes. Most of what I see locally are 1" - 1 1/2" long more tan and brown, some are green as grass all over. Occasionally, down where my mom lives outside New Orleans, giant black hoppers almost 4” long will appear. I think they have some red spots on their backs.
