Default One Week Away For My Opener

    Fitted with knee brace today.

One week away from going out.

    Len,

OUCH! Does that ever look familiar. Looks like my old brace. Was off work for three months several years ago before I retired. Had experimental surgery at the time and was the 5th. one the ortho doc did. Worked like a charm. Total range of motion back and no pain after having it for 45 years or more. Old football injury that I finished off by slipping at the edge of a small mountain stream and landing on rocks instead of in the water. Just be careful when you start back wading again. And do like me; take a wet dump instead of trying to do the fast foot shuffle and mess the knee up again. Good luck and can't wait to see some of your postings photos once again.

the weather was more than I could stand today. Synched up the knee brace and hit a wintering hole near the road. I was being ultra careful on my knee and took my time out to the hole. The knee held up ok but my back was screaming at me in two places. It hurt middle back and between my shoulders. Neither were anywhere near my surgery site. May be time to get a little boat.

Len, I found my doughnut float tube to be one of the best therapies around for my back. I have gone out several time with my back being very stiff and returned very relaxed. I have a V-shaped tube now, which I do not think is as relaxing.
