Default What happened to John Scott?

I have not seen a post from John in a long time. He used to post pics of his cutts quite often as well as his extended body flies.

    Anyone know what happened???

I, also, have wondered about John. I always worried about all his back country hiking fishing trips with bears and possible him falling and no one around. I hope and pray he is OK.

The last I heard he was living in Missoula Montana. But that was two or three years ago. I'm pretty sure he's retired, but I think his wife is still working. As a teacher if I'm not mistaken.

A short time ago, John e-mailed me, asking that I delete his membership. John is a friend of mine, enjoyable guy to fish with.
I have always enjoyed his postings. I have not and will not delete him. Hopefully he will eventually again find time to share with us again. I have no idea why he made the request?

I miss his postings also...I understood that he lived in or close to Missoula, and drove from there to fish the Lochsa, a distance of 125 miles or so south. When you figure he was doing this on a regular basis, even during the winter, and for a guy more or less our age, you get the picture of a person who is most dedicated and passionate about this sport. I hope he is well...
