    Default Flashback nymphs ?

Do you use any other color than silver?
Thinking of being weird for some warm water(if it ever comes back) fish.

    Rick,

I've always used pearl for my flashback.

I'm sure you will get a lot of different responses.

Not that I fish them often, I don't, but I've tied flashback nymphs with a number of sparkly materials. The one I've used most is a 'holographic' (pearl?) material. The holographic Christmas tree tinsel that's about 1/8 inch is excellent and a package will last several tiers their entire lifetimes.

Dave beat me to it - opalescent mylar provides an interesting effect; better or worse than others, I'm not sure, but it's often effective and it looks cool. Holographic copper, on a Pheasant Tail nymph works well, too.

    Regards,
    Scott

Great colors for flashbacks: Green; Silver; Pearl; Holographic Flashabou in just about any color you want.

I believe it was Shane Stalcup who supplied us with a material in bulk, rather than spooled stuff, and it had all different colors together. I would send you a bit if you like.

I have some dark green foil I use occasionally, I think my original came from a container of Emerald brand almonds.

The anti static bags that computer parts come in make interesting backs. If you are very lucky you can get them in a bronze colour.
    Cheers,
