    First one of these I've tied in a long time; I may not be done trimming it yet.

    If you've never fished these type of flies before, understand that fish will turn them into a tangled mess. Bring along a comb or a small pet brush; lay the fly on a flat surface (your leg can serve, in a pinch) take a few strokes and you'll have the fly in fishable, if not pristine shape, in a flash.
