Boo: Satin and Gloss
I just recently saw the post by dleo and have seen other rod refinishers/builders with a gorgeously done glossy rod. I've always refinished my boo in satin as to not scare fish when I'm on the water (as if my fumbling method of wading doesn't scare them). I'm starting to like that sparkle and shine from the high gloss. Assuming I use the same-brand product do I just apply the glossy above the satin coat or do I need to strip to wood and reapply?
