Hello I've finally joined here. I've been reading info on the site for a while now. I mainly fish for bluegill and bass. I've basically taught myself to flyfish and am now working on flytying.

Welcome aboard.A wealth of info here.Sure makes learning a lot easier.
tjulian, welcome to FAOL, a great site with great folks to help with everything flyfishing. We won't savce you money or your sanity, but we will help you to have fun. Enjoy yourself here and take care, John.
P.S. I see you are a fellow Missourian, We have three State Parks for Trout fishing and also wild trout fishing areas. I prefer bream fishing myself as my name suggests, more fun, less hassel.
Welcome to FAOL from Tennessee! You have found the best site for "fly anything". Take the time to explore the hugh volume of info here and you will learn a lot. It makes no difference what species of fish you fly fish for. Using a fly rod is a blast no matter what you catch. Learning to tie your own flies just adds to the enjoyment. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about fly fishing and fly tying. You are home.....

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
Welcome from Georgia. You'll find a great group of folks here with loads of talent, experience and great ideas that they are always willing to share. Don't be afraid to jump in on any of the discussions. We always welcome a new perspective.
