Oh for heavens sake! It says I talk like someone from Kansas City! Kansas City??
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

I hate to say it, but I think Kansas City comes up when a person has "conflicted" speech patterns, i.e. you moved around a bit as a youngster and/or your parents were raised in one area of the country and moved to another area of the country where you were born and raised. It came up with Kansas City for both of my older children who were raised in the Atlanta area, but my wife and I were born and raised outside of Boston. Incidentally, it pegged me for Boston which was pretty much right on target, even though I've lived most of my adult life in the south.

My results came up with Omaha, Lincoln and Wichita, but I have never been to these places. Born and raised in Northern California. My mom is from San Francisco and my Dad is from Hackensack, NJ.
    Trout don't speak Latin.

Ha! Guess I have conflicted speech patterns. my test shows wichita, kansas city and springfield. was born and raised in kansas, but have lived the majority of my adult life (the last 25 years) in kansas city, mo. so the test was pretty spot on for me.

The quiz placed me in Austin, Tx., I have never lived in Texas. I was born in Connecticut. My family moved to Northern California when I was 4, and I spent K-2nd grade there and was teased tremendously for my "speech". That must have left a profound influence on my tendency to adapt to colloquialisms. We subsequently moved back to CT until I graduated High School. A 'deah' was a critter with 4 legs and antlers (buck); an 'idear' was something you suddenly dreamt up.
As an adult, having spent 6 years in the military, and having worked quite a few different jobs, I have hung my hat in IL, VA, SC, FL, CT, MI, GA, PA, and TN. Maybe that explains the crossroad intersection in Texas. Fate?

Small world in this big site there Grubb. If you are going to be in Waynesboro at the show in June maybe we can get together again.

Lived my entire life in the upper Great Plains and that's where it pegged me. Interestingly, when my wife took the quiz her results were almost identical.
