Default 't Was the day before Christmas ........

't Was the day before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
For they feared the resident fat man would step on their rear
The missus had told me to get it in gear

Me and mine wish all you and yours the very best Christmas and New Year ever.

Our daughter was recently wed and he came with a 5 year old daughter, so it's our first Christmas with a small child in quite a while. My wife is in the Grannie mode. Me I'm the grumpy ole Grandpa who has about finished the toy box I have been building. She did "let" me stir the fudge last night, some duties are better than others.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    Merry Christmas to you all.

The older daughter's family were here this past several days and left this morning. The wife and I really enjoyed our daughter, our son-in-law, and the grandkids, but the quiet is nice too, now that they are on the way home. Three kids, 5 and under, can make a lot of noise. We see the younger daughter and her family in a couple of weeks, and we look forward to them as well.

Hope your holiday is as good as ours has been, and Lord willing, will be.

    God bless you all.
