Default Shimotsuke Kosasa - value fiberglass rod

I have fished the 240 Shimotsuke Kosasa this past season and think it is a neat little bargain rod. A JDM model intended for the vacation traveler or beginner. Good for hiking in your back pocket. Can poke it through lakeside bushes, dapp over a little creek and even push-out a decent cast when needed. Given a recent online review, I am sure the 210 that Tenkara Bum offers is just as usable. Most of us are not about to spend hundreds of dollars on a short fixed-line pack rod. For the price of a good pizza or a lousy movie date this neat kick around, back-up, kids starter or loaner rod can be had. Slight Cons: A bit heavy, soft/not crisp, silly spelling, no bag, and kind-of-funky looking thick lillian. Significant Pros: Well made, nice finish, soft and sensitive top section, great glass taper for fighting the unexpected larger fish. Skip the pizza and beer - grab one of these from Chris
