    Default Favorite John Gierach book

I just started "Standing In A River Waving a Stick" and have been really enjoying it. What are some of his other works I should put on the list?
    Thanks -

All of his writings are worth the time to read. We can find something in all of his books that strike that " Oh yeah, been there/done that place."

Trout Bum was one of his best. I think it was his first also.

Not a huge fan of that style of writing, but I was quite impressed with Good Flies, which for some reason never seems to get the credit due, in my opinion.

If you're interested in bamboo rods Fishing Bamboo
    is a must read.
When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.

I've read and enjoyed all of them. I once heard someone say he didn't like them because every chapter in every book was he same. He thought each one was some variation of "A.K. and I went fishing..."

I guess I never found that to be the case. I have read each book at least twice. I like them a lot.

Fly Fishing the High Country was actually his first book, but I agree, Trout Bum is a classic. Sex, Death & Flyfishing is another one I really like.

Another Lousy Day In Paradise. I like it mostly for the content. I think I want to move back to Labrador!!
