Well I am getting ready to take the plunge and build my first rod. And I am having a hard time deciding on whether I want to build on the forcast blank or the IM6 blank from H&H.

I am planning to build a 3 weight for small streams and still water, and I don't want an agressively fast rod. How fast is the forcast? How much different is it from the IM6?

I know lots of you are very saticfied with your forcast builds, and I am tempted - for the price - to build one of these first. But I want to have as much information as possible before I take the plunge.

I will be talking to Bob at H&H before I spend any money, but I wanted to hear what you all thought first.

Thanks folks,
Ed
