UV (ultraviolet) is the next shortest set of wavelengths, just outside the typical human visible spectrum. We cannot know what "color" it is because we cannot see it. Many, if not most, birds can see it. Owls were first discovered to use it to follow mouse-urine-stained trails. Fish of many kinds are believed to see UV also. Many have found it makes a difference. I certainly have on a number of occasions.
