just to let you know how much these notices have improved my relationship with my husband: he gave me a mini i-pad. you give me a reason to use it! these free books are just great.
how do you get notified that they are available? is there some sort of preference on the amazon site? i have great difficulty using amazon and swore off it for a while, but you've opened up a new world.

I just go into the amazon kindle store, search for terms like "fly fishing", "fly tying", or just "fishing" for example. Then I sort by price, lowest to highest. It took me a bit to find it the first time, but you can bookmark it after you get the search you like. Then I just check the bookmarks once a day or so. Only takes a second or so. Sometimes weird things show up there, but it's not to hard to do.
