Very nicely done. The caribou Goddard is a fly I tie a lot. The lighter colors in caribou make it easy to match hatches with just a Sharpie.
Thanks! I've got a lot of Caribou on hand. I need to try tying some.
I was given a small piece a couple of years ago and was told it was the best available for spinning hair on flies. I need to dig it out and spin some.
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
Scott, what size hook did you use for that Goddard October Caddis?
Allen,
The Goddard's tied on a #14 Dai Riki 320.

Scott
That would explain why the one or two that I attempted don't look as good. I tried to do a size 8, and I didn't pack the hair tight enough.
