That is a long wait, but don't you have ice fishing for 'Eyes"? I know you have to use a really short fly rodbut at least you are getting out there. Just think of the wait as a time you can build a rod, tie a massive number of flies or for once actually get the old tying table cleaned and organized. Have a good winter.
