What a weekend this is shaping up to be! Blizzard in the high plains, and a tropical storm coming ashore on the Gulf Coast.
Hopefully all of the members of this site, that are in the cross-hairs of this weather, will safely make it through the coming storms.
Normal for western Wyoming, wait 5 minutes, it will change. A little early on average but not unusual for here.
It was snowing (not unexpected) a few hundred feet above Homestake Pass, east of Butte, when we drove through on Sunday, and we've been just missing bad weather every day since. We'll leave Tennessee Monday morning and apparently just miss the remnants of TS Karen.
