    Default Emrys

The Emrys is a minimalistic sea trout pattern, for low water conditions.

Some years ago there was an article (don't recall where) on "Nurse Flies" which were similarly dressed on stainless hooks. I tied some at the time but never got the chance to use them. That may well be useful in the salt water here for sea trout. Nice one Hans. Definite Welsh influence on this one.

I wonder if "Twiggy" had some influence in the design of this fly? Nude shank! Naughty!

    Hans,
Wonder if you might tie the Troellwr Mawr Pen-ffridd by Emrys Evans?

As an aside, I think he counter wrapped the ribbing on that fly.
    Thanks,
    Byron
