I still miss not being able to send a PM to Al Campbell with a question I have on tying....

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

Jack and I are in Rapid City. I told him on the way in that I would love to be setting down with him this evening and picking his brain...I still miss him also

I've never met him, but I hear he was a very nice man. He is with us now, as a part of our spiritual lives, that's why we fondly recall him.

I never got to know Al, I joined here too late, however I have read his tying threads on here and yes I miss him also. A Great fly tyer and a Greater Person. He paid it forward in the best sense of the word, ;he passed his knowledge on so others might learn years from now. Thanks again Al. Y'all take care, John.
