Default Looking for info on an older graphite Winston

I've been offered a very good condition older Winston 9' 7 weight and I'm trying to figure out its value or at least to get some information on when it was made, etc. The rod has line weight and length markings, but no series designation.

    The details:
    -9' 7-weight
    -2 piece
    -3 1/4 oz
    -Serial # 12094
    -Silver tube
    -green sock
-downlocking aluminum reel seat with walnut insert.

The issue is complicated by the fact I just ordered a new Sage VXP in the same weight/length...

You could post on the winston forum, but do it quick; it's going off line on 9/15 and changing to facebook. It's an older Winston and I'm no expert; I'd say the value is $250-300.

More info needed. Pre IM6 or IM6? Most likely Pre IM6. Spigot Ferrule or tip over butt? If spigot, how much gap is left? Full wells grip or standard western? Condition of cork? Filler? Photos?
