    Default X-Caddis "Hybrid"

Just tying some X-Caddis patterns today. I tied one with short palmered hackle and was wondering if others do this.

I realize the X-Caddis is to represent the crippled caddis, but thought the short palmered hackle would not detract from this - especially in pretty rough water.

What do you think? Sort of a cross between the X-Caddis and the EHC.

    Thanks,
    Byron
