    Default Fly Anglers OnLine 16th Anniversary

    September 1st 1997; Deanna and Jame Birkholm started one of the longest running fly fishing magazine on the internet...

    This is a site that has help newbies to discover that they too can fly fish...

    A place were there is place for people to come to and even contribute their own articles on fly fishing...

    While other fly fishing sites have come and gone, FAOL remains as the best site for to learn new aspects of fly fishing and learn much of of the forgotten history of fly fishing...

    I found FAOL on October 4th, 1997. Since then FAOL has been my home, and I have submitted many articles to FAOL, and have save most of the articles that have been submitted to FAOL, on my computer...

    I have met new friends at the FAOL Fish-Ins that member of FAOL came together and learn from each other...

    I was the columnist for "Tying Tips" for a few years, and now I center on a annual "Beginner's Only Fly Swaps" each year starting in November and ending in April...

    I do these swaps in honor of my mentor on FAOL, Al Campbell!

    I only work only for one person, Deanna Travis, my friend and publisher...

    I would be lost if there was no Fly Anglers On Line...

    Well said and I totally agree on how great FAOL is and I do appreciate all you have contributed to FAOL. Without some dedicated people, FAOL would no longer exist. Each day I look forward to logging in to see what is going on. FAOL is my "daily fix" and I enjoy it.

    Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

    Soft Hackle, Nymph, Dry Fly, Streamer, Terrestrial...
