    Default Orange Partridge and Winter Brown

    It seems like every man and his dog has their own interpretation of the Orange Partridge. These are IAW Brook and River Trouting by Edmonds and Lee. The two with peacock heads are Winter Browns (on North Country Spiders the thorax goes in front of the hackle not behind as seems to be the soft hackle convention today). These are all on size 14sBend Back SbS_0037.jpg

    Those are great! Your photos are probably the best anywhere. Just awesome.

    Awesome. So the camera is on a tripod pointing down at the flies? At what distance?
