Shopping for Bamboo blanks

I'm starting to look for a winter project. I'm looking for that special set of blanks. I want to build 2 this winter.

Matt- you can't go wrong with blanks from Mike Brooks - give him a call or send an email to him for more info - he builds the best Payne tapers I have thrown, and his own designed Mckenzie taper is terrific.

Another really good rod maker that has a great price on his blanks is Tim Zietak...he is making me a Leonard 39 H right now. there are a lot of good makers out there...if you go with Mike Brooks, ask him about his green bamboo blanks...they look really cool.
