Default Wanted: Teach a Vet to Fish (Kingman AZ)

Hey All ... I've put this up on one other board, and as I did there - I'm putting it here because over the years I've had some great interaction with the folks who frequent this site.

At any rate, I've been corresponding with a veteran of the war in Afghanistan (Army ... infantry) who lives in Kingman, AZ. He's been trying to get started in fly fishing, and is running into the hurdles with which we're all likely familiar. I've been doing what I can to help, but I live in New York and what this man needs is some hands-on help. I don't know that he could afford formal lessons as he hasn't been a civilian very long and is still trying to find his way (not much call for infantry in the civilian world ... I had the same problem 20 years ago). What he really needs is a patient fishing partner to show him the ropes. If you're in a position to help, drop me a line and I'll put you in contact. mdaley73@yahoo.com

    Thanks,

    Mike D.
