I wanted to tie some of the Cripple Caddis flies. However, I don't have the proper zelon/antron winging material.

Byron that will work, no doubt..... Here's another little trick I use for this fly. Oversize the hackle by a couple of sizes, for instance a #12 hackle on a #16 hook, trim the bottom and sides as you wish but leave the top.... easy to see and it still lies flat in the water... TL, Dougie.

Yep - I miss guiding and working in the shop.... and the guys, .... but I love fishing the area as well.... If the guys need a hand ya never know!
