Default I have a hardback book my wife found at a yard sale is it rare.

It is titled The art of the trout fly by Judith dunham and is in hardback cover printed in Japan.Lots of fly pics with descriptions and the tiers.
Is it special or just a old book.

Hope so because I have a copy in pristine condition.
Actually, I'm guessing it may sell for $10 - 20. If anyone has a better estimate please post. I'm hoping my guess is on the low side.

Follow-up: Just noticed that someone here has it on sale in the 'For Sale' page for $8.00.
Hey, nice of your wife to think of you and buy the book.

Sorry Thomas, while the book is not a 'hidden gold mine' it could be a 'hidden treasure' just because it is about fly fishing, but as for making a killing selling it, nope. Larry ---sagefisher---

Donate it to a local library. Let more people read it. I was going to sell a fly fishing book at a garage sale for .50. Turned out to be a first addition and it went for $31.00 on ebay.

Used copies go for about $5. No gold mine there.

Now if you can find a copy of "Presentation" by Gary Borger ....that's a gold mine, for more than one reason.
