Default finished the 10.5 ft 3 wt

Got it all finsihsed and the line strung up.

Took it out to a pond and cast if a few times. I think I am going to like this rod a lot. Loved the way it cast.

    Rick,

Where did you get the blank? I'm also looking for a 10 to 10.5 foot 4-wt.

    Thanks,

    -John

    Rick,

I looked at the blanks on their website and don't see any 10.5' 3-wts. What brand is the blank? Was it a special order?

    Thanks,

    -John

This was a sale item so they may have run out of them. you can e-mail Bob at Hook & Hackle and he can tell you.

    He is very helpful.

I've asked about 10' rods and been told to stick with 9' What for, and where.....lake or stream...or boaf, are you going to fish for with that rod?

    Rick,

Uh.....where did you put your guides, on the straightest axis, the softest axis, the stiffest axis, or the effective spine?

When I found the spline on each section I marked the top of the rod and put the line guides at that point.

    worked for me.
