forecast rod

Just finished and tested my forecast 9WT 9ft four piece rod today. I went with light green wraps with 1/16th blue trim at each guide. I used 4 coats of nitrate dope to seal the wraps before epoxy and two coats of dope to seal the cork. I have only lawn casted so far but I find this rod very similar to my SC Legend Ultra.
I have a Forecast 5WT. that is my all time favorite rod I would not sell or trade it for anything.
I am planing to build a spinning rod using the same 9WT. blank without the butt section...FB.

I built a 7'6" 3 wt. that is a tad slow for my taste. I'm planning to try it with a 2 wt line to see if that works.
