    Default Took the plunge yesterday

Ordered a Hook and Hackle 6'6" 2wt kit. I'll probably be bombarding you guys with questions at first but reading Al Campbell's rod building instructions gave me the confidence to give it a try. Hope I don' t make too big a mess.
    Tight lines,

Bone -- Nothing against Al's great series or even the Garcia book, but the simplist lightbulb instructions for me came from a Mudhole catalog with their pen and ink drawings. And don't be afraid to ask questions. People here and the Dan Crafts and Bob at Hook and Hackle are all great resources. As in fishing, the "hook" isn't what happens to the trout, bass and bluegill. It's what happens to us. Congratulations and have fun. JGW
