One of my fishing partners and I are planning to fish the South Fork of the Boise River July 21-23. We will be using his 2 person inflatable pontoon. Presently, our plan is to float the approx. 10 mile stretch from Anderson Ranch Dam down to the Danskin Bridge. Does this sound reasonable?

I believe we will be staying in Mountain Home, ID so we have relatively easy access to the river but at the same time, our wives will easily be able to get to Boise and/or anywhere else they want to go.

Anyone familiar with this stretch and have any tips, thoughts, suggestions on fly patterns, etc? I would appreciate any input. Thanks.
