The Red River Fly Fishers and Eisenhower state park will be hosting "Texoma on the Fly" on Saturday, June 15, from 9:00 to 1:00 in Eisenhower state park on the shores of Lake Texoma.

The event will include:

> A beginning fly fishing class

> Fly Casting instruction

> Demonstration fly tiers

>> A catfish pond!!

Everything including entrance to the park will be free.

There will be activities for all ages Saturday.

We're asking that the participants of the full fly fishing course be at least 13 years old. But, we'll have the catfish pond available for younger folks to fish in, and the fly tiers are entertaining for everyone.

Hey, if you are interested in fly tying whether you are just starting or just want to get better, spending some time watching and talking to the fly tiers is a great way to become a better fly tier. I learn something every time I attend this type of event.
