In the celebration of four years now with my eyesight fully restored after five years of tumor-induced blindness, every single day is one for the books. That said, a truly special and unforgettable day for me would be to spend the morning hours with my two late daughters and the group of "my kids" from the tying classes that I've lost along the way, and then to enjoy one last "front porch session at twilight" with the three men who've gone on ahead, but not before making me into the fly-fisher/man that I am now-- my grandfather, "Doc" Holship and Montgomery Jackson --all while watching the river currents pass in front of an old fishing cabin known as "Trail's End." And, of course, the finale to the day would be sitting down later that evening, and re-reading your recent encounter with one of God's children. Therein would be the most perfect of days...
