you're right Ray. These hooks, just like the Stone Fly hook by Saber just change the shape of the fly's we tie. Something different to get us to spend our money! I will say that one day on the Elk River my bent bead head soft hackle was the only fly to catch anything!

There is at least one SbS for a fly tied on one of these hooks. I know there is, I did one as a FOTW some time back! Though I agree they are a bit of an oddity.
