Warren, thanks for putting that information and the link up. On all of my corkless grip rods I have installed stool feet to protect the butt end of the rods, the rubber replacement feet made for tables, crutches and such. I hadn't thought of it before the information you supplied but it would be a simple matter to add some appropriate sized coins to improve the balance of the rod even more. And the rubber feet are available from most hardware and building supply stores at a very reasonable cost - usually under a dollar, depending on size of course.
