Default Big News, New Bass Species

They have discovered a new species of bass, and are identying it's range.

The important thing is to have at least one of our members be the first to catch one on a fly rod, and be able to identify it as the new species!

Someone needs to catch one and let us know!

We need then to claim the accomplishment for FAOL!

    Regards,

    Gandolf

If it takes a geneticist to tell the difference, there might as well not be a difference. Same with the cutthroats in the cricks around here. They keep changing species, but the always look the same.

They've been warning us for years that the spotted bass has been diluting the rare Chipola Bass and the Suwanee Bass. Then they decide there really never was a Chipola Bass. But now they identify the diluted Chipola Bass as yet another new species. Sounds like our nature hating governor has found another way around endangered species laws that were preventing his developer friends from using up more watershed.
