    Hi Hans,

Very timely with the 17 year locusts planning to inundate the East Coast.

Hope someone ties it and gives us a report on how it fishes when the locusts get here.

It won't be me, the Texas panhandle is a very long way from any 17 year locusts. You never know though, maybe 17 years from now I might be in the North East, and have some tied up.

    Regards,

    Gandolf

    Hans,

I really like the looks of this pattern. It will fit in with my style of fly fishing very well. I only wish there was a step-by-step because I enjoy your tying style as well as some of your patterns. In looking closely at the picture, there seems to be some Krystal Flash towards the eye in the brown chenille and, since I want to tie up some of these, I wanted to make sure I tied them correctly. You do not mention any flash in the body but I do see some. Thanks for your help and keep the patterns coming....

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

    Warren,

Body: Wapsi woolly bugger chenille, brown

This material has a measure of flash incorporated.

    Thank you, Hans.......

Gandolf - I will be sure to post a report as soon as I can get some tied up and get them wet.
