    Default 7'6" spin rod

This one is a 7'6" spin rod built on a 5wt Amtak classic series fly blank for a customer that fishes bass on Fontana Lake with live bait. Wraps are royal blue (no CP) metallic silver trim and natural cork/graphite seat.

Interesting, a spinning rod on a fly rod blank. Who would have thought!

Nice work. What did you use for the butt cap?

It's a coat button from Joanne fabrics. They don't always have nice ones that will work on rods but I usually stop in once per month to see what they have and every once in awhile they will have buffalo, Indian, or Eagle pewter finish coat buttons for $3 a pair. So I snag them whenever I can find them.
