Default 50TH Birthday and Sportin Wood!

Yesterday my wife took me totally by surprise with a very well 50th birthday surprise party at a local BBQ joint. I walked into it flat footed had no idea that she had a room full of family and friends to greet me. It was a job well done. After enjoying fine meal and a couple of Sam Adam's finest the birthday gift was presented. It is a new rod but not just any rod!
There a very skilled gentleman in my fly club by the name of Larry Duvall he builds some very fine bamboo fly rods. Now when I say he builds them I saying he makes every part. These are highly coveted rods among the members of our club. They are functional and beautiful pieces of craftsmanship that I would put up against any bamboo rod so without further adieu!

Fine looking piece of machinery, Iceman. Just make sure it is in its case and flat on the seat before you close the car door. George
