Is it a problem if i want to tie the same fly as another tier?? I found 2 that are probably in my tying ability but both are spoken for already. The Oriole or the Butcher. I am not very good at tying winged flies and these 2 look like I can do either of them. The Montreal and The winged gold ribbed hares ear look good also. got all these off the Global fly fishers web site. Classic wet flies and Classic bass and lake flies sub forums. thanx

I would like to tie this one, not sure what it's called. The Gagnon, maybe? Found it here: http://favoriteflies.com/wordpress1/

It is certainly ok with me if you tie the same pattern. It is always interesting to see the differences in style and technique.
    Thanks

Darn... Too bad I didn't see this until just now... I like tying the older flies and fishing them as well...

Have you received any flies, yet? I mailed mine a week ago.
