Two even more so. Should you find the psychiatric help, please let me know where.
Cheers,
A.
I always kind of figured we all could use that sort of help.
They leave a pile of trimmings on the tying table but they're worth it; that's a real nice bug.

I walked by my vise and saw those two flies on that magnet this afternoon and thought that they represented two very different and conflicting attitudes. Can I reconcile them by fishing the emerger off the bend of the popper or will it require years of whiskey and therapy to recover?
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.
Yes rainbow chaser. Years of whiskey AND fishing to recover!
Mike
Thanks Scott. I think I was typing as you were posting. I hope both flies will be productive in the right situations.

Hi Rainbowchaser,
I hate to disillusion you, but the fact that you post on this site may be a strong indicator that you are already off the deep end, and it may be too late.
Still, at least you are not so far gone that you no longer recognize that there may be symptoms. Some of us are so far gone that we no longer even realize that we are seriously unbalanced.
So a friendly word of advise.....I fear that the vast majority of us who regularly read this site and post here have long ago gone off the deep end. It's too late for many of us......We may all need serious psychological help, but it may not be too late for you. However, if you tie your own flies and build your own rods.........well.........
You have heard the statement about the inmates running the asylum........
On the other hand, what a way to go!

Gandolf

You definately are TOO LATE! Here is one way to KNOW!!!
1) you have the fly-tying e-board email you whenever there is an update, or new post on flys.
2) you don't ignore the update e-mail, you click it as fast as you can to see what's new
3) after you've clicked the update and are on the site, you stay on so long that your boss fusses at you!!!!!!!!

1. You see a stray dog or cat and think to yourself, "Wow, that would make a great streamer..." "Here, kitty, kitty......"
2. Your dogs and cats have small bald patches on them where you have experimented with new nymph patterns......
3. When you clean out your bird cage, and chicken pens, you save all the loose feathers.
