    Default A tribute rod build

This rod is for a customer whom lost his father last year. His father was an avid outdoorsman as well as a United States Air Force Veteran.

Blank is a Pacific Bay Traditions II blank. Reel seat is a titanium finish triangle window seat. Grip is all natural cork I turned in a Fenwick style shape, has a metal knurled hook keeper with wraps in Air Force colors of Blue and Silver with some white trim on the inscription and stripper only. Guides are minima SF guides and then a mounted a USAF button on the rear of the seat. Along with the inscription on the rod I also did the owners name on one side of the seats window, with his dad's name on the other.

Hopefully this rod will help bring back some of the fond memories of his Dad for the new owner.
