    Hijack alert...
    ...Speaking of zonker strips and color combos. The streamers I'm tying are all zonker. Tail and wing=one piece. Contrast color wrapped for the body. Easy. Color combos are almost unlimited especially with the newer two tone barred strips. Eyes and flash are optional. I'm tying these for bass, so they get some. While you have your rabbit out, try some.

    Hi Karli-Rae,

    They look great, and I think they will catch fish!

    Chewydog, yours look great too, and look very fishy.

    Karli-Rea, you might consider glueing on some eyes on yours also. I have read that the eyes can be strike triggers. However, I don't know if it actually makes a difference, and I put them only on part of my streamers. I don't usually put them on small streamers for crappies, or white bass, etc., but do put them on the larger streamers that I have been tying lately to try for walleyes with, I do add them.
