Default Lots of white here. You?

There's at least a foot of snow on our deck table and it is 17 degrees. Springtime in the Rockies! Snow is still coming down, but seems to have tapered off. We need this snow for the year's water supply so I have mixed emotions about it. Was glad it was light powder from a shoveling viewpoint, but wish it had been the heavy stuff in the forecast for its moisture content.

We got 7 inches in 3 - 4 hours here this morning. Wet and heavy in town. The ski areas are saying 12 on the hill. I have heard stories of waist deep in Highlands bowl. I hope it's true we need the water.

over 3 inches of rain in last 30 hours and a hint of snow this morning.

I lived in Colorado Springs for 2 years and know of what you speak. One April we got 30". I was told the Springs had no snowplows because it would melt in a day or so. We're now seeing bare, albeit brown mud, around here. I can still see about 4 - 5" of snow in the back yard where it drifts. Around her, people are actually looking forward to mud season, sick of the snow.

I know y'all don't really want to hear this, but here in south Louisiana our azaleas started to bloom a month ago and have already pasted.

However, last week we did have a cool front blow in and the weather man announced in a single breath that we were under a pollen warning and a freeze warning ... on the same evening! HA!

Now, if the wind will lay down the marsh is full of willing reds and specks...

stopped a night in Los Alamos, NM and got 6-8" of the white stuff. If anybody ever needs it, it's New Mexico.

We only got three inches here on the west side. But I came back from a week in Montana for it. Sigh.
