Things have improved several points in the Yellowstone drainage and the park in the past week. The medium-term forecast is for cooler and wetter than normal. I was starting to worry when we were getting down in the mid-80s% range a while ago, but we're now at 89% outside and 92% inside the park. Last year it was late April and May that stabbed us in the back and then relentless heat in July and August that finished us off. If we can get to May 15 with an 85-90% snowpack we should be fine to escape any closures even if it does get hot this summer.
