ok....I've done JC's "How To Cast" exercise and am conscious of these instructions pretty well at all times when casting. I also cast being mindful of the imaginary book under my right arm And I seem to have the appropriate "slow and steady" pace in my casting that is necessary to cast with my older, fiberglass rod...but I'm still having alot of trouble! I mean, my casting has improved about 350% since I found FAOL and it's references and instructions, but my backcast is getting dangerous! When I am in the backcast, my line comes back and will hit the rod....sometimes just glancing it, other times tying knots a boyscout leader couldn't figure out! Last night the line actually came back at ME and I had a size 14 Dark Montreal stuck in my eyebrow! Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong to get this to happen!!!

Thanx
Brad
