Default No Need For Jigs In Making DYO Furrled Lines

Here is a link, with a video, and lots of pictures showing how just about anyone could make his or her own furled lines with out having to have a jig of any kind:http://www.tenkaraonthefly.net/2011/...ng-update.html

This is the same as a twisted leader. Most people will use two strands rather than three. Although like a furled line in that they are both done by twisting you can get a nicer a better taper for transfering energy through the line. There are lots of videos ob twisted leaders on You Tube, and the process is same except for the amount of strands being twisted.

    Cheers

John, I have. Once. Never again.

Works very nicely with horsehair, though.
