    Why would the material clip be on the backside of the jaw housing???????

    Well, if you had read Scott's full description under the photo, you'd have seen he wrote that that position was only for non-rotary function and that when using rotary, the spring needs to be repositioned to the front side of the shaft.

    Like most, I suspect, the material clip on my Renzetti 3000 is on the jaw side of the jaw housing whether tying rotary or not.


    My Renzetti with material clip in position. Not in the way even if not tying rotary, and if desired, it can be slid closer to the jaws.
